The memory of an ECU has data like confidentiality, sensitivity,
and ownership. In order to have these data tamper-free,
authentication module was provided to the ECU. Only an
authenticated user has the accesses to ECU memory.
Authentication module prohibits unauthorized user to
have access to the protected memory data.
Authentication can be carried out in the operating mode
of the ECU without intervention of any other vehicle operations.
